Kids haven't had the creativity knocked out of them like us adults, so sometimes they can think outside of the box in unexpected ways. My son just got his yearbook and was showing off his kindergarten class picture to some friends. Another boy asked him, "Who is the tallest in your class?" After a moment's thought, he responded, "The teacher."

Children are natural problem solvers because they are not afraid to try anything.
ReplyDeleteChildren are also naturally curious. They want to know the why, what, and how of everything, and they are not afraid to experiment either.
ReplyDeleteHere is a perfect example from my house. When H was 2-1/2, he wondered what would happen if he put a car key in the wall outlet.
Yes, he did try it and received a small zap. Afterwards, he decided that outlets "bite" and decided to stay away from them.
